Hola. A professional goal of mine is to be self-employed...eventually. I won't play the Born Ready entrepreneur card so quickly because I understand there's ALOT to be learned from working with large and established teams first. An academic goal is most definitely to take everything I'm taught with a grain of salt. The media is obviously one helluva tool. Some use this tool to great advantages, while the majority succumb to its vortex's. I say this because far too often I get sucked in more than I'd like. So without a doubt, as Mrs. Ka-soy-low had already alluded to, I'm eager to become more aware of media consumption for all the right reasons - professional and academic.
