Greetings, class! I'm Erin and that's a photo of me hanging on a mountain, as I am sometimes wont to do. I'm a journalism major and this is my final semester(!) I want to be a news n' features writer, but I'm also pretty creatively inclined and into art/fashion/music. With my time in college ending, the difficulties of "making it" as a writer in the current media environment are constantly on my mind, and I have high hopes that this class will help me fully engage myself online and push to be published in more places. I would like to work for a newspaper or magazine when I graduate, but I am also interested in radio news. I hope to tackle the big issues in my writing and one day create or work for a publication that serves women.
