Hello my name is David and I'm a senior currently in my last semester with a major in video production. I'm on track to fulfilling one academic goal of mine, graduate with a perfect GPA. Professionally, I'm taking it one step at a time. I have a plan of the things I want to do but of course it is easier said than done. I want to work in the city in broadcasting/television but before I get there full time I need to secure an internship not only to fulfill graduation requirements here but to also act as a stepping stone to act two of my plan: Work full time as a PA somewhere in the city for a production company or preferably a network/ network program. Finally after years of experience doing that I would like to someday work in production management or programming, however I am also open to talent/artist management as well. For someone like myself who wants to get into managment, all aspects of media and media consumption is important to understand because you have know what is working, what is not working, and where the industry is going to better serve both the consumer and networks/productions. The big thing right now is the shift from broadcast television to online streaming and web series. There is also an over saturation of quality (you could argue there just as much garbage) on TV/online that nobody could possibly watch it all. Don't believe me? Read This My Demo Reel
